Remedial Massage
This is a highly effective and targeted massage session focused
entirely on releasing the causes of pain and discomfort. In treating
clients, a range of advanced massage techniques are untilised
including Active Release, Soft Tissue Release, Muscle Energy
Technique, Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Release.

Typical conditions that will benefit from Remedial Massage
treatment include specific patterns of muscular pain and tension,
frozen or badly knotted shoulders, RSI, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome,
upper and lower back pain, numbing or tingling down the arms or
legs.

Sports Massage
Sports Massage is for anyone who exercises, not just athletes. It
aims to improve the suppleness and flexibility of muscles and joints,
improve blood circulation, speed up the healing of damaged or
stressed muscles, tissues and joints, and prevent future muscle and
tendon injuries.

The main benefit of Sports Massage is that it improves muscle
flexibility, blood circulation and reduces swelling, aids the prevention
of sports injuries and assists the body with recovery and repair after
sports injuries have been sustained.

Deep Tissue Massage
For those of you who want to be massaged not moisturised, Deep
Tissue Massage reaches below the superficial layers of muscle
tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body
through slow strokes and deeper pressure on the contracted areas.

The purpose is to "unstick" the muscle fibres and release deeply-held
patterns of congestion while relaxing and soothing the muscle. Deep
Tissue Massage is both corrective and therapeutic and feels fantastic.

Swedish Massage
This full body massage treatment is ideal for individuals who are not
suffering from pain but who prefer lighter pressure and a consistent
flow throughout the massage. Swedish Massage is the original
massage technique involving a sequence of movements working
superficially and deeper into the tissue layers.

Movements such as effleurage work over the skin with the palm of the
hand producing relaxation, whereas movements like petrissage work
deeply. Petrissage movements such as wringing and kneading will
help to relieve tension promoting deep relaxation in the tissues and
muscles.
